What are the resort hours?

We are open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.  Our lobby hours are 7:00am to 7pm. However, there is always a team member on site to supervise our furry guests and to manage your check-in/check-out. We may not be at the front desk before 7:00am and after 7:00pm, so please call ahead to ensure we are at the front to let you in.

Where is the Boarding Lounge™ located?

Our Boarding Lounge™, convenient pet pick-up and drop-off service, is located at Lovers Lane Animal Medical Center near Love Field at 4660 West Lovers Lane, Dallas, TX 75209.  Contact us at 972.456.0010 to schedule our Boarding Lounge service.

Airport Parking

How does the airport parking and transportation work?

We offer onsite parking at our resort for $10/night plus applicable taxes and fees. Transportation to/from the terminal is complimentary with the use of parking.  Parking reservations must be made in advance. For airport transportation when our company shuttle is unavailable (typically before 7:00am or after 7:00pm), a cab will be provided for you and the cab fare will be deducted from your total at check out.

Tours

Can I take a tour of your resort? Can I just drop in any time to take a tour?

We do offer daily tours of our resort, however we ask that you make a reservation online or call to schedule an appointment ahead of time. This allows us to (1) ensure that we have a team member available to show you what Paradise has to offer and to answer all the questions you may have regarding your pet’s stay with us; and (2) limit disruptions to our guests. Any new people moving about the resort can cause a rise in excitement and agitation among our guests, especially when dogs are in playgroup, so for their safety, we do our best to keep this to a minimum.

Please contact us at 972.586.2800 to schedule a tour.

*Please note that during holidays or other sold out weekends, we are generally unable to accommodate tours.

Can I bring my pet along for the tour?

We definitely want to meet your pet and understand wanting to see how he/she takes to our resort, but for safety reasons, your pet cannot accompany you on the tour.  We are happy to discuss options for your pet to “test” us out ahead of time if that is your concern.  For example, for dogs, you are welcome to a trial half or full day of daycare to find out what we’re all about.

Reservations and Registration

How do I make a reservation?

If this is your first reservation, we recommend calling us at 972.586.2800 to make a reservation. You can also contact us via email.

How far in advance do I have to make a reservation?

In general, we recommend making a reservation AT LEAST a week in advance to allow enough time for the registration process and a visit to the vet if needed prior to coming to Paradise 4 Paws.  During holidays, we recommend making a reservation as far in advance as possible. We do, however, accommodate last-minute requests based on availability.

What kind of paperwork do I have to fill out before my pet can visit Paradise 4 Paws?

You will need to complete registration forms, which include the enrollment forms, our rules and regulations, and a pet parent agreement. We ask that the registration packet be returned to us at least 24 hours prior to your pet’s first visit (emailed, faxed, submitted online or dropped off) so we can prepare for his or her arrival.

There is a potty break early in the morning, during each playgroup – one in the morning and one in the afternoon, and another potty break in the evening before bedtime.

Do the guests ever go outside?

We have very spacious indoor play areas with canine grass, so that going outside is not necessary.  However, we do offer an add-on activity, called an Outdoor Hike, where we can take your dog outside on a leash.  If you are interested in this option, please inquire when you make your reservation.

What should I bring with my dog?

We recommend you bring your dog’s regular food.  We can provide our house food (Fromm’s) for an additional fee, but it is best for your pet to stay on their regular diet.  We provide bedding and bowls.  You are welcome to bring your own bedding instead.  And you can bring any toys, treats, blankets that you think your dog would like to have with them.  Please keep in mind that our guests are not supervised in their suites, therefore anything that may pose as a choking hazard should be avoided.  If your dog is destructive or chews things up, we ask that you bring his/her own bed, otherwise you may be charged if the bed we provide is destroyed.

One of my dogs always tries to eat the others food and I have to supervise. How do you handle this?

We can either supervise or separate your pets at feeding times.  Please specify either on your registration forms, or inform us at the time of check-in, if your pets need to be supervised/separated during feeding times.

My dog is on medication. Can you administer that while he stays with you? How much does that cost?

Yes.  Basic oral and topical medications can be administered free of charge.  More specialized medications and administration of injections and/or fluids incur a $25/day fee.

Doggie Daycare/Playgroups

How much is daycare?

Daycare is $20 for a Half-Day (<= four hours), $30 for a Full Day (> four hours), and multiple pet discounts apply. Additional discounts are available through our Paradise Club membership.

What are Doggie Daycare hours and days of the week?

Daycare runs from 7:00am to 7:00pm, every day of the week.  During holiday blackout periods, we limit daycare to Paradise Club Members only due to the number of hotel guests we have during those times. (See Playgroups for information on playtime).

Are dogs separated into playgroups based on size?

Guests are divided into playgroups based on size, temperament and energy level.  The group your dog is in depends on his/her size, temperament, and the dynamic of all the guests we have at the time of his/her stay.

Does someone supervise the playgroups?

Yes, Paradise 4 Paws Team members supervise all playgroups.

How much play time do they get?

The amount of play time varies based on what playgroup your dog is in. Daily exercise requirements vary greatly from guest to guest and are a consideration when assigning playgroups. Typically, your dog will receive between three to five hours of play time a day.

Webcams

Can I watch my dog(s) on the webcams?

Yes!  The play areas, lounges and select suites have webcams that are accessible with a username and password given to you at check-in time.  Cameras for the play areas are accessible from 8am – 6pm.  Suite cameras are accessible 24 hours.

Why doesn’t my dog’s suite have a webcam?

Are they in their bungalows all day long?

No, even though our Bungalows are very spacious, we also give our feline guests time in the Adventure Jungle™ to play, climb, and watch the fish in the aquarium.  Cats from the same family are allowed in the Jungle together but we do not socialize cats from different families.

What should I bring with my cat?

We recommend you bring your cat’s regular food.  We can provide our house food (Fromm’s) for an additional fee, but it is best for your pet to stay on their regular diet. Each bungalow includes a cat tree, litter box, drinking fountain and feeding bowl(s).  We provide litter and litter boxes, but you are welcome to bring your own if your cat is very particular about his/her litter box and type of litter. You are welcome to bring your own bedding, toys, and treats if you wish as long as it isn’t a choking hazard.

Can I just carry my cat into the lobby?
